Yes...the Olympics are over! As much as I enjoy the umpteen hours of coverage and excessive replays....at long last my television will see some more variety in programming. I may even have time to watch some classic hockey DVD's and getting ready for the upcoming hockey season.
Then there is sumo hockey of course.....I mean what hockey game is complete without people in sumo outfits wrestling for their life. Well maybe not quite their life...it is just for prizes but laughably these things get quite competitive.

Some of my favorite hockey moments are the zanier things like men in hockey pucks and the zamboni that literally "bled out" in Pittsburgh. This is one I may never, ever forget and neither did the poor people that had to clean this mess up. But it still has to be one of the funniest moments I have ever seen on the ice.

Last but not least we have the zamboni that gets stuck. If you think this can't happen, I have seen it happen at a Devils game in the mid 80's. These are the sounds it makes too....very ugly scenario. For the record if this ever happens, get a really good saw!
