This is always one of my favorites!! Thank you Youtube for a gem I always like to look forward to every so often. Any time you see a hit like this, you have to be amazed that a player can come back from it.
Cue right up to Shane Willis, the victim. He has never been quite right since. That 20 goal season in 2000-2001 was his career high more than likely unless he is truly healthy. Concussions and various other injuries have slowed Willis down to a crawl. Now at 31, he is trying one last comeback attempt with Columbus as he has a tryout with them (thanks Spectors). I would like to see him make it as he has endured a lot. However, it looks more like he may end up in Syracuse versus Columbus.
At the end of the day sadly, everyone remembers Shane Willis more for the Scott Stevens hit than anything else. That more than likely will be the legacy of a once promising player.
