Hockey takes a slight backseat at first today to well......FISH!
So here is some fish.

Being Good Friday and the Devils playing the Islanders tonight...the video just seemed a good idea. With a long weekend coming up....it is really time to get in a hockey state of mind even if "March Madness" tries to tempt you a bit and oh it will...trust me....it will.
The Rangers travel to Philly tonight and the Sharks travel to Anaheim to face the Ducks. Things are getting ramped up with only a little over two weeks to go in the regular season. The battles get more intense...this is basically playoff hockey folks! It won't even matter that Anaheim doesn't have Chris Pronger tonight...that is the kind of fire you can expect on the ice. Hell if Giguere vs. Nabokov is enough to get you out of your seat....I don't know what will.
Just think tomorrow gets even better with the Atlantic Division clash between the Devils and Penguins. These teams do not like each other nor will they ever. Will Crosby be in the lineup? Will Elias be back? So many subplots and yet the conference and division are at stake. Did I mention the back end of the home and home on Tuesday? Yeah, this is the way the end of the season was meant to be....the NHL definitely got this right no question. A no holds barred fight to the finish reminiscent of the old Roman days of Bread and Circuses.
The nicest thing of all is I have a three day weekend to enjoy all of it. Expect Hockey Around The Horn to hit the blog later this weekend. Of course, join in on all the fun and chaos on The NHL Arena.
