Just get me the beer folks. Some good old fashioned Monday Night hockey tonight. There is a six pack of games going on tonight (several in progress). For me there is nothing like coming home from a long day of work, kicking back, and see hockey in all its glory. Such a great departure of course from yesterday, when there was no hockey. Surely that was a sad day but we all got through it.
Now this is in its very infant stages but we are doing something that is a little outside the box...sort of. Our goal is to get Brad May to the all star game. I am sure we will take some heat for this (see Fitzpatrick) but at least Brad May is a better player. At any rate, the site is just beginning but you can check it out as it develops right here!
I also want to apologize folks for the late posting. I am working at the school district this week...subbing for a good friend so since I am working 10 hours a day all week...I am sorry for not being able to deliver the usual breaking news as it comes in that you expect. We will have some of our regular bloggers step up as the week progresses. Yes hopefully next week I will have a better plan in place to at least get some of my columns out early in the morning so you don't miss too much of the latest.
We had a very informal Hockey Around The Horn last night because of all the other sports taking precedence. This does tend to happen when there are no games scheduled. Another brilliant move by Gary Bettman to have all these games then expect us to go cold turkey for a day. That is just painful! It hurts! By the way, we will hopefully have a more formal version this Sunday on the podcast...so come one and come all. we will not disappoint!
Finally, it is nice to see hockey tonight. Let us all hope Yahoo gets all the scores updated in a prompt manner. We can only ask for so much folks...I know. With that a little video to tide you over. Enjoy!
