15 games of play made it tough today to pick a Fab 4 but undaunted....we did anyway. That is just the best way to go. So I know there will be more debate than usual about this week. Time to fire this up.....let's go!!!!
4th Cider
Jean-Sebastien Giguere (G) -- Anaheim Ducks
47 saves...yes he gave up four goals...but Montreal unleashed a boatload of scoring chances and more. I mean Giguere stopped all 13 shots from Thomas Plekanec....that deserves a wow in itself. There is a reason why Anaheim is playing better and that is Giguere for the most part.
3rd cider
Brian Boucher (G) -- San Jose Sharks
Though this is not very likely...Boucher could get more playing time if he keeps this up. He is simply stopping the shots that he is supposed to. He did it again last night...brushing away all 22 Tampa attempts at the net. Maybe it was a little easier than most teams but at a tail end of the Florida trip and still Boucher did not give up one goal. Impressive!
2nd cider
Milan Lucic (F) -- Boston Bruins
Lucic struck in the clutch. His hat trick gave Boston a much needed 5-4 win over Atlanta. The third goal being the game winner, Lucic also contributed a primary assist to the cause. Who said Lucic was a relative disappointment so far? They may want to quiet down for a little while. He showed some considerable game last night.
1st cider
Cam Ward (G) -- Carolina Hurricanes
He earned it! If the 57 saves on 60 shots was not enough....the penalty shot that he stopped (Doug Weight) was the game clincher with just 0.7 seconds on the clock. That is what I called a whale of a performance. I am sure the old faithful would have been proud to play Brass Bonanza in the background. Here it is one more time! Still amazing to me that a game ends like this.

Tomorrow there will be hockey again. I can't wait!
