This week on Your Slot Here....we are going to take a look at The Power Play written by Ken Beckett. I also wanted to personally thank him for appearing on the Fantasy Hockey Roundtable yesterday. Let's get down to business here!!
Ken hails from Ontario in Canada...Cambridge to be exact. But The Power Play breaks it down in new and different ways. His recent post which more or less boils down to coaches on the hot seat. Ken also has the new Gerber mask which does indeed look like something out of Star Wars...so Ken you were indeed right on that one.
From the This Day In History to well The Lucky Tie posts, Ken brings the passionate hockey fan out for full display on the internet. Also do note all the Montreal stuff he has on the first page....no he couldn't be a Habs fan....nah!!! In all seriousness, this is a very nice site for all hockey fans. I almost forgot....the pun master did not create these shirt logos but I believe he wished he did.
Now for the record, Ken does a whole lot more....he does have a very solid fantasy hockey background. To be this much of a diehard fan, you kind of have to honestly. He does have a yahoo league I reckon that I may be involved in but that is a minor detail. He has great knowledge of the game and a sense of humor which is why The Power Play works so well.
So since it is a lazy Friday afternoon...except for on the left coast where it is so close but not yet.....go check out The Power Play...a blog that speaks its mind but makes you chuckle as well!!
