Fantasy Hockey 101: These Three Turkeys....

BallHype: hype it up!

Gobble Gobble!!!!!!

Here comes the turkeys!!!! This week we have three more turkeys for your pleasure and ridicule as well. Without further adieu...let's get to them....shall we? And away we go!!!

Corey Perry (F) -- Anaheim Ducks

Rut roh! 1 point in his last five games will get you in the old turkey pen!! Perry is still 23....but he should be playing a bit more mature honestly. The 42 pims is a bit of a concern right now. The fact that he is not finishing right now is an even bigger concern. So will Perry get back to form and set up guys like Selanne and Getzlaf? Well that will be a big key in not only his fortunes but of Anaheim's as well. As always, a critical matchup beckons and that is tonight @ SJ. Perry and the Ducks need this.

Marc Savard (F) -- Boston Bruins

Two points in his last five games???? Oh crap! This is obviously not why Boston lost against Washington but Savard has struggled some recently. It is inevitable...you can't score at a high clip all the time you know. Even Sidney Crosby has gone through slumps. All players do. This is one that I do not believe will last at all. In a few weeks this will be a very distant memory but for now...he is a turkey.

Chris Pronger (D) -- Anaheim Ducks

One point in his last four games. Pronger is not doing badly per se....but some of his decisions lately have not been the greatest as far as shooting the puck. Having two games in this span where he only had 1 shot each proves that point. For Pronger to be effective, his shot has to hit the net. If it gets blocked....it just cannot set up Anaheim for chances down low because let's face it...that shot is a BLAST!! Pronger has also made several near costly turnovers of late that are not like him. Sure he did not get burned but if he does....that obviously tinkers with his +/-. A lukewarm turkey but a turkey nonetheless!!

See who we have next Thursday on These Three Turkeys...you never quite know who will show up!!!
