Quick thoughts on the day Scott Stevens was announced as part of the 2007 HHOF class...
I got the IM from a friend of mine who works in the Devils organization about 9am yesterday and it reasonated through my brain all day. Scott Stevens is in the Hall of Fame on the first ballot...wow! Here is basically my favorite player of all time and he will be enshrined on November 12th with three other greats. A simply amazing moment for a quiet man off the ice and a ferocious gladiator on it. Donna (his wife) and the kids must be proud .
Simply....this is for you Mr. Stevens....the montage from Scott Stevens night.

I still tear up a bit seeing that video....I have the DVD but every time I see it...I find it amazing just how great Stevens was....as a leader and player. Yes, the Norris may have eluded him but he left an indeliable mark on the NHL. To #4, thanks for the memories and congrats on the call to the Hall.
