A slushy video of disturbing proportions!!!!
Monday must mean slushy water cooler time. A short edition this week as we gear up for the start of September, a hearing in Phoenix Wednesday and maybe even a NHLPA director sacking sometime today. I have to say just when all seems dog days on the offseason...something always seems to occur to keep things moving JUST ENOUGH.
On The Program last night we touched on the Northeast Division. Here was my picks on how 1-5 should go. Of course it usually never quite pans out but as always we try to take an educated stab based on a lot of unknown. That after all is the challenge to anything like this and we relish it on the podcast.
Note that on the show Andy had Ottawa 2nd and Montreal and Buffalo down a notch so there was not total agreement here. Its a tough division to call and really we thank everyone for all their help on what was a rather smoky night with fires coming closer to my area. The latest one is burning around highway 10 and 62 and yes the smoke is on top of us. More updates as the week goes on but there is more hockey to talk about.
Some news that we did not get to mention on tonight's show because of time constraints and an old humorous prank we like to play on a message board is the following. My first article for FantasyPros911.com comes out on Wednesday. I will be writing a weekly column on Fantasy Hockey For Beginners. Go check it out.
We are also looking at a partnership with Nova Fantasy Sports and Joey Savino. Joey is one of the best and the brightest in the fantasy sports industry and this would be a major feather in our cap in providing the readers the best info that we can provide in a timely manner. Stay tuned as we get closer to the launch of FanHuddle...a lot of things are going to happen and hopefully for the good.
So as the season gets closer....The Program is getting closer to furnishing all your hockey needs and then some. Enjoy your Monday and if you are near those fires...stay safe!
Sincerely,
Chris Wassel
Director Of The Program
