I saw this and immediately thought to myself....my dear god NBC is not pimping someone from New York, Philly, Washington, or Pittsburgh. There was much smiling. Nonetheless, here is a nice video of Zdeno Chara. Now we're not going to mention the result of the game today.

I am still kind of surprised at this commercial....I guess Sean Avery exhausted all his promotional ads from the sloppy seconds. At any rate, not a bad promo of Chara at all in a hockey related sense!

Did you really think Chara played a good game today? Yeah he scored a goal and had a helper, but played pretty bad for his standards on defense. He didn't have a physical presence at all and wasn't nearly the force he's known for. He turned the puck over and played sloppy defensively.
