Cammalleri is one of the more interesting players in this UFA class. He scored 39 goals with the Flames, but likely won’t be returning due to a lack of cap space. Almost anyone who needs a boost to their power play or forward unit could use ‘Cammer’… 19 of his 39 goals came on the man advantage. He had a down season in 07/08, but bounced back well last year with a +35 point differential.

Where will he land?? Good question. Like Martin Havlat, he’ll probably have many suitors. The Sabres, Preds, and Sens look to be the big 3 pushing for Cammalleri. I think he’d fit well in Buffalo & Nashville… but if Ottawa trades Heatley, I think they’ll become the favorite to rake in ‘Cammer’.
