NHL Mock Draft 9.0

Finally we are at the end....weeks and weeks of working on this and we will see how we do. Thanks to all of our good Draft Experts for helping us out. Now to the final Mock Draft......


Friday means mock draft time. We have looked around and pooled resources to come up with the best 30 for the first round. I am curious to see how our final Mock Draft does compared to all the other "experts". It should be fun to see. Now to get the list together and a little explanation. Thanks to The Prospect Park for all of his help with his opinions....just an awesome job!!!!

2009 NHL Draft Notes

# 20 - Phoenix Coyotes receive a conditional 2009 or 2010 1st Round Pick, C Matthew Lombardi, and Brandon Prust from the Calgary Flames for Olli Jokinen and 2009 3rd Round Pick
# 26 - New York Islanders receive Ottawa's (originally San Jose's) 2009 1st Round Pick and Dean McAmmond from the Senators for C Mike Comrie and D Chris Campoli. Ottawa receives Tampa's 2009 1st Round pick (from San Jose), along with Filip Kuba, and Alexander Picard from Tampa Bay for Andrej Meszaros. Tampa Bay receives San Jose's 2009 1st Round pick, Matt Carle, Ty Wishart, and a 2010 4th Round pick from San Jose for Dan Boyle and Brad Lukowich.


Also.....

We are now including the uppers and downers from hockeysfuture.com. This will give you an idea of what we are looking at down the road as possible Round 1 draft surprises. A heads up if you will....

And now our 1-30.........we expect much debate after 10 or so. All player profiles can be found on hockeydb.com. Keep in mind, this assumes no draft day trades are made. Insert chuckle here I know. Enjoy our final mock everyone. This is why we have guys like Russ Cohen and Darryl Houston Smith helping us out...we need it!!! This is it....picks pretty much the exact same...as we head to the draft tonight. We are sticking to our guns on the final mock. If it's wrong...so be it!
