This Day today features something that still to me is amazing. A goal in that many games in a row...now I know the record is higher but still to start a season...this is very impressive. Okay here goes nothing.

Mario Lemieux scored twice to extend his consecutive goal scoring streak to a team record 10 games in the Penguins 7-2 win at Ottawa. The win gave the Penguins a record of 8-0-2 to start the season.
