Sorry everyone but for some reason this came across the desk as we were leaving and this needed to be done.  This is today’s moment from 35 years ago.  Wow, to think this guy is still in hockey.  Scary thought!

 

 

July 09, 1975


Montreal Canadiens traded winger Glen Sather to the Minnesota North Stars in exchange for cash and a future 3rd round draft choice (Alain Cote).

The Nashville NHL expansion team, scheduled to begin play in October 1998 (HHOF is human), named David Poile as the first General Manager in club history.
