March 12, 1966

Bobby Hull became the first player in NHL history to score more than 50 goals in a season when he picked up #51 in a 4-2 win over the Rangers. Hull broke the record shared by Maurice Richard and Bernie Geoffrion in front of 22,000 fans in Chicago.
