Your Slot Here....

On this week's edition of Your Slot Here, we take a look at get this....me.  When starting out a new project, I was always told to maximize exposure but this is a case of merely just asking you to go check this out when it is up.  This week I was named the new Devils beat writer for Examiner.com.  I am still speechless to be honest.  However, I never would have accomplished this if it was not for all the readers, bloggers, and hockey personalities that made this possible.

There will be obviously more information as to links and what not as articles start going up on the site.  I caution the site is under construction right now but I am just giving a heads up to go check it out.  There will be a candidness on this site that you will not always find on other sites but it will be done respectably much like fine people like Michelle Kenneth, Don LaGreca, Richard Chere, and so many others that I have grown to know over the past several years.  There will still be edge but it will be a bit more polished around the edges.

Now do not worry.  This is not going to take away from my work here.  Sure there may be a little less output but the RPM's will still be cranked up on high.  The goal is the same as it ever was...to spread the word of hockey around the world and back.  I really would not have it any other way.  As the dryer buzzes and the phone goes off in the background, I think to myself what an interesting screwed up sort of year it has been.  But this career path has some definite upside at last.

What does the future hold?  I do not know.  I just know it will not be dull.  Without all the readers and people that interact with me on a daily or even weekly basis, it sure would just not be the same.  I have to say fanatically this has been a fun ride and I only hope it keeps getting better from here.  A big congrats to all that work with us on the podcast as well and keep it going throughout the spring and summer.  Thanks again.
