While we pause for today for Memorial Day, here is a moment from yesteryear on This Day In Playoff Hockey History. Our goal for the next couple weeks will be an attempt to find Kings and Devils playoff moments from times gone by. If all else fails, then we will expand the search. Here is our moment for today from 17 years ago. Today’s gem has something to do with Claude Lemieux. However, first we have a little video….

Claude Lemieux scored twice as the Devils won 4-1, in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, at Pittsburgh. New Jersey advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals vs Philadelphia.
