The F**K You Fantasy POTN (3/14)

Now that is a double flipping salute!

Now here is a classic double flippin salute that is worthy!

Welcome to the column that takes the worst that hurt your fantasy night and tries to make it feel somewhat better. With a nice, beefy eleven game schedule tonight, there was a bevy of potentially bad performances that would affect certain fantasy teams. We went far and wide to find these fantasy duds that kicked you right where it hurt. These will make you flip the bird with much pride!

========================================================

WIN — Pekka Rinne — Nashville Predators

This is one that hurts the masses but Rinne was awful and so was his team. Remember the bottom line in fantasy is the numbers and Rinne was yanked early in this one. By the way video of this has been deleted to protect the innocent. The netminder who won't have a 2.00 GAA now gave up four goals on 12 shots. Let this be a lesson. This one hurt Rinne owners and they are mad!

PLACE — Jonathan Quick — Los Angeles Kings

He won the Conn Smythe last season? Quick can't even maintain a .900 or above save percentage this year for Los Angeles. Quick gave up three goals on 12 shots tonight and a couple soft goals that had Kings fans wishing for Jonathan Bernier. Bernier would give up one goal and the Kings nearly came back before falling 4-3 to San Jose. However, Quick's inconsistent goaltending has driven his owners batty all year. Maybe Quick needs to get his head out of his ass.and figure this out or the coaching needs to platoon a bit more!

SHOW — Tampa Bay Lightning — TEAM AWARD

What else is there left to say about the Lightning but the fact that they stink offensively right now. Aside from whatever line Steve Stamkos is on, this team does not generate sustained pressure often enough. They had so few shots tonight again against an Islanders team that gives up three or more like its candy. In the end, Tampa was shutout 1-0. That is right…1-0!!!  If you owned Tampa players tonight, just flip them off! This team has truly earned it!

That is it for now…..tomorrow is another ******* day!
