The F**K You Fantasy POTN (3/17)

Ryan Miller

It just seems that we have seen Ryan Miller do this way too often in the shortened season. (Nick Wass / AP)

It has been a long St. Patrick's Day. The end of the week always brings fantasy frustrations to a boiling point one way or the other. These two guys had to frustrate fantasy owners today, one because he was awful and the other because of an unexpected result. Are you ready? Let's go!

========================================================

TOP F**KUP! — Ryan Mller — Buffalo Sabres

Miller has been a source of extreme fantasy anxiety all season for his owners. While his save percentage is decent, his GAA is around 2.90 which is not good news. Ryan Miller stopped 20 of 25 shots in the loss, which is only an .800 save percentage. That is not going to get it done on a "Fantasy Sunday". Mr. Miller, you have done this far too often this season. Owners of Miller really do want to jump ship and some think Miller just wants out of Buffalo again. He sure as hell is playing like it. Either way, #30 for the Sabres is giving up far too many soft goals and that results in some very grumpy fantasy owners.

Colossal F**UP — Sergei Kostitsyn — Nashville Predators

If one play defines the Nashville season, it may be the blunder Sergei Kostitsyn committed in the third period of a 1-1 game against the Edmonton Oilers. How do you forget the guy skating right by you? Kostitsyn casually went for a line change while Sam Gagner merrilly kept going. The result was a nice dish on a 2 on 1 that resulted in a game changing shorthanded goal by Lennart Petrell. Ultimately, it was the difference in the 3-2 Edmonton win but players just cannot commit boneheaded plays period. Never call for a line change when your skate to skate with a player in a potential odd man rush. Besides he is a player who has declined in fantasy effectiveness. 11 pts in 27 games is not going to get it done. Nashville can find that off waivers practically! GO F YOURSELF KOSTITSYN!!!!!

There is a nice slate of seven games on Monday…we will be looking for those candidates that drive everyone nuts. Good luck and remember to flip the bird!
